There is a Filipino Church that meets every Sunday afternoon on the YWAM base and the pastor decided to challenge us to a game of basketball. So this morning at 8 am we got up and headed down the street to some hoops. My teammates were taller, bigger and many had played basketball many times before, but what happened was amazing. Apparently, they play a lot of basketball in the Philippines because they made us really play hard. The first game we only lost by 1 point, but the second, they took their game to a whole new level and beat us by 7. It was quite an experience and really enjoyable. We have plans to play again in 3 weeks when we can get a few more players.
